Alaric Development Log

Peter, I like your idea of a development (b)log. Your detective work of narrowing down the causes of the bug is pretty interesting, too.

I'm currently developing my own engine, and I've found that debugging is "different" than for some other programming problems. For example, how can you have a test case for a particular reduction/extension? I suppose you could work out an entire example by hand or somehow trace the search, but it seems tricky.
